Meditating together
Meditation techniques are useful when you start meditating, and I'm always happy to instruct beginners in the basics. Below you can also find some helpful suggestions in the downloadable meditation notes or try the heart-based meditation videos.
Both beginners and experienced meditators find that they are helped in their meditation by the support of the group and by the chanting that leads into the meditation.

Beyond all techniques, silent meditation is essentially a way of resting in your being. At first, you get enticing glimpses of it: moments of expansion or spaciousness, of peace, love, joy, or bliss. As you settle into meditation more fully, you will find deep peace, and a very subtle joy and love. Sometimes an emptiness that is full at the same time presents itself. All these are deeply restful and nurturing. Welcome to yourself!
